DG Accountancy

UK Company Formation Service

UK Company Formation Service

Your limited company, registered correctly from day one.

Forming a limited company is straightforward if you know what you are doing. Get the structure, the share allocation and the HMRC registrations wrong at the start and unpicking them later costs considerably more. DG Accountancy handles the full formation, so it is done properly. Fixed monthly fee, ACCA-qualified, same-day replies.

  • Company registered at Companies House, typically within 24 hours
  • Corporation Tax and PAYE registrations handled from the outset
  • Share structure and director setup reviewed before filing, not after
  • Ongoing compliance included — confirmation statements, accounts and returns

No long-term contract. If it is not working after three months, you leave with a properly formed company and nothing owed.

Sound familiar?

Not sure you set the company up right?

Most people forming a limited company for the first time do it through a formation agent, pay a small fee, and assume the job is done. Often it is not. Share classes, director loan accounts, the right SIC code, Corporation Tax registration timing — these things matter and they are easy to get slightly wrong when no one is guiding you. The problems tend to surface later, usually at the worst possible moment.

  • ✕ Company registered but Corporation Tax and PAYE not set up correctly with HMRC
  • ✕ Share structure chosen without understanding the tax implications for directors
  • ✕ No accountant in place, so compliance deadlines are already approaching unmanaged

What a proper formation looks like

Getting the setup right from day one means there is nothing to undo later. Formation, HMRC registrations, share structure and a Xero account ready to go — handled in one step, with an accountant who stays with you beyond the paperwork.

  • ✓ Corporation Tax, VAT (where applicable) and PAYE registered correctly from the start
  • ✓ Share structure and director arrangements reviewed before anything is filed
  • ✓ Ongoing compliance in place from day one — no deadlines arriving unannounced
  • ✓ Fixed monthly fee agreed upfront, covering everything from formation through to year-end

Huge thanks to Daniel for helping ourselves with our taxes! Being self employed means we all have to do this ourselves which is just not possible on top of our work load. Thanks again! We will be using you again!

What you get

Everything covered, from registration onwards

Company formation is the starting point. What follows — the registrations, the ongoing filings, the tax planning — is where the value actually sits.

01

Company Registration Done Properly

Your company is registered at Companies House with the correct SIC codes, share structure and director details. HMRC is notified for Corporation Tax, and VAT and PAYE registrations are handled where relevant. You receive your certificate, memorandum and articles — and you know exactly what they mean.

Included as standard
02

Ongoing Compliance From Day One

Confirmation statements, year-end accounts and Corporation Tax returns are managed on your behalf so filing deadlines do not become a problem you notice too late. Your Xero account is set up and connected at the point of formation, so your books are current from the first transaction.

Included in monthly package
03

Tax-Efficient Director Setup

The way you extract money from your company — salary, dividends, director loans — has a direct effect on your personal tax bill each year. This is reviewed at formation so the structure works from the start, not retrofitted after the first self assessment lands.

Why DG Accountancy

What makes the difference here

Any formation agent will register your company. Fewer will make sure the structure is correct, the registrations are in order and someone qualified is available when questions arise.

🎯

Formation Plus the Follow-Through

A company registered and then left without proper accounting support is a problem waiting to happen. Daniel handles the formation and stays with you — for the accounts, the tax returns, the HMRC queries, and everything in between. You are not handed off to a support team after the paperwork is signed.

📋

Structure Reviewed Before Filing

Share classes, director arrangements and salary versus dividend strategy are worth thinking about before the company exists, not after. These decisions are reviewed as part of the formation process, so the company is set up in a way that makes tax sense from day one.

Questions Answered the Day You Ask

New limited company directors tend to have a lot of questions in the first few months — what counts as an allowable expense, when to register for VAT, how to pay yourself correctly. DG Accountancy is known for fast, plain-English replies. You will not wait days for a simple answer.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

From first conversation to company registered and accounts set up, most clients are fully onboarded within a week. The process is straightforward and most of the work is done on your behalf.

1

Book a free discovery call

You will talk through your business, your plans and what you need from an accountant. No sales pitch — just an honest conversation about whether DG Accountancy is the right fit and what formation will involve for your specific situation.

2

Receive your fixed-fee quote

A clear, written quote is sent covering formation and the ongoing monthly package. Everything is agreed upfront — the fee, what is included, and what happens next. No surprises appear later on an invoice.

3

Formation and Xero setup

Your company is registered at Companies House, HMRC registrations are handled, and your Xero account is set up with bank feeds connected. You will receive your documents and know exactly what your obligations are from the point of incorporation.

4

Compliant, growing, less to worry about

Your compliance runs on time, your books are current, and you have an ACCA-qualified accountant available when questions come up. The parts of running a company that most directors find tedious are handled — which is, frankly, the way it should be.

Questions

Things people ask before getting started

Can you advise on the right company structure before we register?+

Yes, and it is worth doing before rather than after. Share classes, whether to issue alphabet shares, how many directors, whether a holding company is worth considering — these are all covered as part of the formation conversation. Getting the structure right at the start avoids the need for more complicated restructuring later.

What does company formation cost, and what is included in the monthly fee?+

Limited company packages start from £79 per month, with 50% off for the first three months. The Start package includes company registration, year-end accounts and Corporation Tax return. VAT, payroll and self assessment are available as add-ons or included in higher tiers. A written quote is provided before anything is agreed, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

The company is already registered — can you take over from here?+

Straightforwardly, yes. Many clients come to DG Accountancy after registering a company themselves or through an agent and then realising they need an accountant to handle what follows. If the books need catching up or the HMRC registrations are incomplete, that is handled as part of onboarding. Most clients are fully set up within a week.

Is there a minimum contract term?+

No long-term contract is required. The service runs monthly and you can leave with reasonable notice. If you decide it is not the right fit, you leave with a properly formed company, clean books and your files. Nothing is withheld.

Do you handle the Companies House confirmation statement each year?+

Yes. The annual confirmation statement is included in the Grow and Scale packages, and available as an add-on on the Start package. It is filed on time each year — you will not need to remember the deadline or navigate Companies House yourself.

How soon after formation should I be thinking about tax planning?+

From the first month, ideally. The director salary and dividend mix, pension contributions and expense policies are most effective when reviewed early rather than retrofitted in January. The Operate package includes an annual tax review, with more proactive planning available on Grow and Scale tiers.
