The position going in — whether that is three months behind or further — is reviewed on the discovery call, and any catch-up cost is quoted transparently before work starts. Most clients are fully up to date within the first week of onboarding.
Is there a long-term contract or a minimum commitment?
There is no long-term contract. Agreements run monthly and you can leave with reasonable notice. If it is not working after the first few months, you leave with clean, up-to-date books and nothing owed beyond the notice period. The intention is to earn continued work by being useful, not by locking clients in.
