How long is the call and is there any obligation?
The call runs around 20 minutes and there is no obligation whatsoever. It is a conversation to understand your business and tell you what a fixed-fee package would include and cost. You decide what happens next, there is no follow-up chasing.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
No preparation is needed. It helps to know roughly your entity type, sole trader, partnership or limited company, your approximate turnover and what you are looking for, but nothing needs to be gathered or sent over in advance.
Who will I actually be speaking to?
You speak with Daniel directly, the ACCA-qualified accountant who would handle your work. You are not routed through a call centre or handed off to a salesperson, so you can ask the real questions and get straight answers on the call.
What does the monthly fee work out at?
It depends on your setup. Sole trader plans start from £41 per month and cover self assessment, HMRC registration and cloud bookkeeping. Limited company plans start from £79 per month and include year-end accounts, corporation tax and company secretarial. You will get a written, fixed-fee quote after the call so you know exactly what is covered before committing.
My books are behind. Should I still book a call?
Yes, most clients arrive with books in some state of disarray, whether that is a few months or a couple of years behind. The call is the right place to talk it through. We work through any backlog as part of onboarding and get things current, and most clients are fully set up within a week.
None of the available times work for me. What now?
