Sound familiar?

Not sure what your tax bill will be this year?

Corporation tax catches a lot of limited company directors off-guard — not because the rules are complicated, but because the year-end sneaks up before the numbers are in order. A CT600 filed late means an automatic penalty. Tax paid late means interest. And if no one is watching your allowable expenses, you will almost certainly overpay. None of this is dramatic, but all of it is avoidable.

  • Corporation tax deadline approaching with no accounts prepared yet
  • Unsure which expenses and reliefs are legitimately claimable
  • Previous accountant slow to respond and left you chasing for answers

What a sorted tax return looks like

Your year-end accounts and CT600 are prepared accurately, filed well before the deadline, and agreed upfront for a fixed fee. No surprises, no chasing, no guesswork about what you owe.

  • Accounts and CT600 filed on time — no penalties, no last-minute scramble
  • Allowable expenses and available reliefs reviewed before filing — not after
  • Questions answered promptly — no chasing, no waiting days for a reply
  • Fixed monthly fee agreed upfront — your tax bill and your accountancy bill both visible in advance

What you get

What your corporation tax service covers

Every package for limited companies includes year-end accounts and your CT600. Here is what that means in practice.

01

Year-End Accounts and CT600

Your statutory accounts are prepared to HMRC and Companies House standards, with the CT600 return filed before the twelve-month deadline. Corporation tax liability is calculated accurately, with all available allowances applied. You will know what you owe before HMRC writes to ask for it.

Included in all Ltd packages
02

Tax Planning Before Filing

There is a meaningful difference between a return that is compliant and one that has been thought about. Before filing, allowable expenses, capital allowances, director loan positions and timing of income are reviewed. On the Grow and Scale packages this includes a formal annual tax review.

Proactive, not reactive
03

Companies House Filing Included

Statutory accounts filed at Companies House are handled alongside your corporation tax return — one deadline, one process, nothing falling between the gaps. Confirmation statements and registered office service are available as add-ons or included in higher-tier packages.

No separate engagement needed

Why DG Accountancy

Why Torquay directors choose DG Accountancy

There are plenty of accountants who will file your CT600. Fewer who will do it accurately, explain it plainly and reply the same day you ask a question.

🎯

Corporation Tax Done Right First Time

Daniel has prepared corporation tax returns across airlines, construction, manufacturing and entertainment. That breadth matters — allowable expenses and capital treatment differ significantly by sector, and a return prepared by someone who understands your industry is less likely to contain costly errors or missed reliefs. You get twenty years of practical experience applied to your specific situation, not a generic CT600 run through a template.

Answers Before the Deadline Matters

Corporation tax queries tend to arrive with some urgency — a director loan that needs clearing, a capital purchase to time, a dividend decision before year-end. Questions put to DG Accountancy get answered the same day, not queued for a callback next week. By the time the deadline is close, there is nothing left to resolve.

💬

Your Tax Liability Explained Plainly

Most accountants send you a tax return to sign and a bill to pay. Daniel explains what the figures mean, what drove the liability, and what — if anything — could be done differently next year. You understand your corporation tax position rather than simply accepting it, which tends to produce better decisions over time.

Getting started

Up and running in four steps

Most limited company clients are fully onboarded within a week. The process is designed to require as little from you as possible.

1

Book a free discovery call

A short call to talk through your company structure, your year-end date and what you currently have in place. No sales pitch — just an honest conversation about whether this is the right fit and what a sensible fee looks like.

2

Receive your fixed-fee quote

You will receive a clear written quote covering your year-end accounts, CT600 and any additional services you need. Everything is agreed upfront. There are no hourly rates and no bill that grows during the engagement.

3

Onboarding and cloud setup

Your Xero account is set up or tidied up, bank feeds are connected and any prior-year information is gathered. If your books are behind, catch-up work is scoped and priced separately before anything starts. Most clients are fully onboarded within a week.

4

Compliance handled, you focus forward

Your corporation tax return is prepared and filed accurately, your tax liability is visible well before payment falls due, and your accountant is available when you have questions. The parts of running a limited company that most directors find tedious are simply handled.

Questions

Things people usually ask us

What is actually included in a corporation tax return service?+

The CT600 return itself, the supporting statutory accounts prepared to HMRC and Companies House standards, and the Companies House filing. On all limited company packages the corporation tax return is included as standard. A review of allowable expenses and available reliefs is part of the preparation process — not an optional extra billed separately.

What does it cost and how is pricing structured?+

All work is priced on a fixed monthly fee agreed before any engagement starts. Limited company packages start from £79 per month, with the first three months at 50% off. The fee depends on your turnover, complexity and the services you need — there are no hourly rates and no bill that arrives with a surprise at year-end. A written quote is provided before you commit to anything.

My books are not in great shape — can you still take me on?+

Yes. Clients arriving with incomplete records or a backlog of unreconciled transactions are not unusual. Before onboarding starts, the catch-up work is scoped and priced transparently so you know exactly what it will cost to bring everything current. Once that is done, the ongoing monthly fee takes over and keeps things tidy going forward.

Is there a long-term contract?+

No. There is no minimum term beyond the initial engagement. If the service is not working for you, you give notice, your records are tidied and handed over cleanly, and nothing further is owed. The intention is to keep clients because the service is worth keeping, not because leaving is complicated.

What is the deadline for filing my corporation tax return?+

The CT600 must be filed with HMRC within twelve months of your company’s accounting period end. Corporation tax payment is due nine months and one day after the accounting period ends — earlier than the filing deadline, which catches some directors out. Your statutory accounts must be filed at Companies House within nine months of the year-end. All three deadlines are tracked and managed as part of the service.

Can anything be done to reduce my corporation tax liability legitimately?+

Yes, within the rules. Common areas include timing of director remuneration, pension contributions, capital allowances on equipment and vehicles, home-office use-of-home charges, and — where applicable — R&D tax credits. These are reviewed before filing, not after the bill has been calculated. The extent of planning depends on your package tier, with more detailed tax strategy included in the Grow and Scale packages.
